What’s better than being able to play all of your old favorite video and arcade games with a bunch of other nostalgic gamers on a Thursday night? Being old enough to drink now, and playing the games at a local brewery, of course.
Somerville’s Aeronaut Brewery hosted the inaugural Bit Fest last Thursday night, featuring a number of classic arcade cabinets, and some of your favorite and most overlooked video game consoles from the ’80s and ’90s. With local suds on tap, gamers packed the space to give the thumbs a much-needed workout, consult with other collectors and vendors, and spin the Wheel of Worst Fighting Games Ever.
