Zines and skating have always gone hand in hand. Skating creates communities that have always been able to share and interact through cut up DIY zines. On Saturday, the Converse CONS project held a Zine Making and Printing workshop to teach and foster the love of the art with young creators. The workshop was presented by Zine maker Andrew Martin Scott, photographer Jai Tanju, and skateboarder Quim Cardona.
The program taught some of the history of skate zines and gave young skaters and zine makers a chance to create some of their own.
