Boston

Blue ones, purple ones, and green ones. Starting today, Boston Children’s Museum will play host to all sorts of monsters in a brand new gallery exhibit: “Monster Party”. Organized and curated by Studio Miners out of Rhode Island, “Monster Party” celebrates the lot of friendly monsters made accessible through fun, interactive monster artwork for all ages. Search for monsters throughout the entire museum in the Monster Party scavenger hunt, draw your favorite monster on the interactive, monster chalk board mural, guess what smells are coming from the !ND!V!DUALS’ stinky monster sculptures and view tons of other monster themed works from a notable roster of artists from New England and beyond.

“Monster Party” will run through the end of November and has partnered with Flour Café in Fort Point for even more Monster Mayhem! Flour/Fort Point will present a “Monster Party” collage created by Museum visitors and staff. Families visiting Flour/Fort Point can purchase a special Monster Treat, while keeping the monster art alive with artist-designed monster coloring pages.
