The traffic lights in Vienna are no longer lonely.
Dozens of them have been changed from a lone, blinky figure, to couples.
In preparation for a succession of public events that will celebrate tolerance, officials said that the signals were a sign of the Austrian capital’s open-mindedness.
Not everyone is on board: The right-wing Freedom Party of Austria said the money could have helped reduce poverty and improve unemployment figures.
We’re just glad these traffic lights have found someone.
