Together Boston returns for its fifth year next week, May 11-18, hosting a variety of art, technology, and music-driven events throughout Cambridge and elsewhere around Boston. The festival, known to curate some of the best electronic music in the world, drops its anticipated compilation album today. This year’s festival mix showcases a wide array of electronic-oriented artists, producers, and singers from the Boston and New England area.
This is by far Together’s most ambitious compilation yet with a vast array of styles represented. This release balances a number of music newcomers with favorites who have appeared on previous Together comps. There’s a special limited-edition vinyl featuring select tracks for the compilation available for purchase Zakim Recordings.
