First, they gave us the croissant doughnut. They told us it would only be available for a limited time. But we were having none of that. We bought millions of them, forcing them to make it a permanent menu item.
Then, they revealed they were testing out a Boston Kreme version of their version of the cronut, in New Jersey. We here at BDCWire don’t understand why they picked Jersey to test out a doughnut with Boston in its name, but, the point is it’s coming.
Well, hold onto your iced coffees, folks. The good folks at Dunkin’ are just getting warmed up. Boston Globe business columnist and associate editor Shirley Leung tweeted this picture out, and nothing will ever be the same.
