In honor of their newly released Croissant Donut — which is not a cronut, seriously, stop asking — Dunkin Donuts is giving the first 500 customers at their Downtown Crossing location a free taste of their flaky, doughy concoction.
For those of you who have enjoyed the croissant donut since its release November 3rd — and it seems like a lot of you have — the giveaway starts at 7 AM at Dunkin’s downtown Boston location at 325 Washington Street.
Not everyone is a fan of Dunkin’s newest creation. One man who tried it called it overpriced, and another said it was just a donut. Colin Jost of “Saturday Night Live” went a little farther, suggesting they call it a dobage — a hybrid of donut and garbage.
That being said, the easiest, most cost-effective way to find out if you’re a fan is to show up tomorrow.
