The bizarre bromance between Dennis Rodman and North Korea leader Kim Jong Un took yet another weird turn, as the ex-NBA player went ballistic on Chris Cuomo of “New Day.” Rodman is leading a group of former ballers into the communist country to play an exhibition game for the supreme leader’s birthday, but when Cuomo questioned him about Kenneth Bae, a US citizen who has been imprisoned in North Korea for murky reasons, the Worm lost his mind. For one thing, he didn’t seem to know anything about Bae.

“Kenneth Bae did one thing … If you understand what Kenneth Bae did,” he said in a perturbed tone, waving around a cigar. “Do you understand what he did in this country? No, no, no, you tell me, you tell me. Why is he held captive here in this country, why?”

Cuomo, of course, turned the question back around on Rodman. “You tell me, what did he do?” It sounded like a family fight over Christmas dinner, with the NBA veterans seated around Rodman who looked horribly uncomfortable (including former Celtics forward Vin Baker) playing the part of weirded out relatives. Then again, these players hang out with Dennis Rodman. They followed him to North Korea. What do they expect?

Local tie! All the while, Rodman was wearing a Red Sox hat. This one, as it were. Early Halloween costume idea? Watch the video here.
