In anticipation of SNL’s 40th anniversary episode this Sunday night, a number of the juggernaut’s finest alumni have been mixing and publicizing the broadcast, an event that brought Dana Carvey and Bill Hader together for this magical moment in this clip from The Hollywood Reporter.

Dana Carvey does a bit where he impersonates John Lennon speaking to Paul McCartney from heaven, and McCartney is trying to explain who Kanye West is, likely in response to their collaboration on the song “FourFiveSeconds” with Rihanna. It’s a decent bit, but the real gold is Bill Hader’s reaction to one of his comedy heroes – he cannot keep it together.

He’s no Jimmy Fallon when it comes to breaking character, but Hader has been known to break down into giggles onstage every once in a while, specifically in his John Mulaney-penned Stefon segments that became so popular on “Weekend Update.”

Laugh away, Bill, and we’ll see you this weekend.
