Coldplay get bookish with new album

As reported in NME earlier this week, Chris Martin of Coldplay has handwritten lyric sheets to nine songs off of the band’s forthcoming album ‘Ghost Stories.’ The lyrics have been sealed in envelopes and sent around the world, where they’ll be hidden in books featuring ghost stories (of course) in selected libraries. The internet almost broke when director J.J. Abrams announced the cast for “Star Wars: Episode VII.” Shortly thereafter, our pal Perry Eaton from BDCwire put together this handy-dandy guide to the non-Mark Hamill/Carrie Fisher/Harrison Ford cast members, which certainly is worth a look. Now, I’m not the type of Star Wars nerd who boasts an encyclopedic knowledge of the films, but I am the type of Star Wars nerd who’s seen the first three films an absurd number of times and I’m pretty excited about the prospect of an Episode VII. And I’m a music nerd by profession, so I got to thinking about where the two intersect, and that led to this list. I hope you enjoy it.
