RadioBDC

On July 30th, alt-rock legends Veruca Salt stopped by the RadioBDC Studio for a stripped down performance. Nina Gordan and Louise Post played two tracks from their new record, “Ghost Notes”, before playing their classic hit, “Seether”. More

RadioBDC Sports: Larry Lucchino Rides Off Into the Sunset
Sports

I started our Red Sox chat this week by posing this question to Boston.com’s Steve Silva and Chad Finn: how will Larry Lucchino be remembered by Red Sox fans? The conversation then turned to the on-field mess that the front office has created this season, and how far off from a remedy Red Sox fans might be. More

So I really don’t have any business busting out the hot sports takes on #Deflategate. Which is why I had Kevin Paul Dupont from the Boston Globe on with me today. He offered some interesting perspective on Tom Brady’s recent predicament, his legacy as a hero of Boston sports, and football fandom and fantasy. More

Raising a Glass at Olde Magoun’s Saloon
Restaurants

Today, I welcomed Howard Haywood of Olde Magoun’s Saloon on Medford Street in Somerville to the studio. Howard is a Newton, MA native that has honed his culinary skills around the world. Old Magoun’s boasts 28 taps of local and imported craft beer, each one served in its own distinctive glass. We talked beer, of course, and Spanish tapas, which will be featured on the menu throughout the month of August. More
