You thought that Boyhood brought the waterworks? Wait ’til you check out Boyhood Meets World, the perfect Millennial mashup of Richard Linklater’s groundbreaking Oscar darling and ’90s TGIF classic Boy Meets World.

Created by YouTube mashup master Avery Monsen (also notable for wild videos like The Shining in One Minute and the very repetitive One Hour Doubtfire), Boyhood Meets World essentially just plays memorable clips from the sitcom over the tender indie folk strums of “Hero” by Family of the Year.

Throw in some critical raves in a quirky font and from there it’s essentially just a highlight reel of Boy Meets World clips. That’s not the worst thing, though. Few things make our generation tick quite like sentimental scraps of Cory and Topanga.

Our only gripe with this is that there’s not enough Eric. But there’s never really enough Eric anyway, so we’ll give it a pass.
