Boston Calling takes over City Hall Plaza this Friday, May 22 through Sunday, May 24. We here at RadioBDC have been covering the bi-annual festival since the beginning: broadcasting live, interviewing the artists, and taking in each and every set. So we know how to get the most out of Boston Calling. All this week, we’ll give you the knowledge, then bring you the sights and sounds all weekend at RadioBDC.com.
To start with, we’ve put together a playlist that features a song from each of the 23 acts you’ll see at this edition of Boston Calling. There are tons of tracks you’ve heard on RadioBDC, and a few you haven’t. Think of it as a ninety-minute master class, and feel free to share it with your friends who aren’t yet hip to how amazing Tame Impala is.
Once you’ve spun through a few times and decided who you’re most excited to see, it’ll help to know who’s playing when, right? Right. So here you go.
For the uninitiated, Boston Calling works two stages, but not simultaneously like you find at some music festivals. In other words, the music doesn’t start on one stage until it wraps up on the other. So if you play your cards right, you can see and hear every note of every set.
Of course, that might be a tough feat given everything else Boston Calling has going on. Here’s a handy map showing entrances, stage locations, food and drink spots, and more.
We’ll see you this weekend! And remember, if you can’t make it, we’re broadcasting live, powered by Xfinity, at RadioBDC.com.
