It may not be the cannabis-infused flavor that many were hoping for, but Vermont favorites Ben & Jerry’s are debuting their most recent creation: charoset ice-cream, just in time for Passover.
For those unaware, charoset is a paste made from fruit and nuts. Their newest mixture highlights the ingredient and blends with vanilla ice cream among other delicious elements. And yes, the ice cream is kosher, just in time for Passover, which starts at sundown on Friday, April 3.

This limited-edition flavor is only available in Israel (for now) but is not the first time New England’s favorite dairymen sold Passover-friendly dessert options. In 2012, the Vermont-based company concocted Haroset & Nuts, which featured apples and walnuts.
If Ben & Jerry’s is good at anything, it’s coming up with unique flavors fit for any occasion. Maybe the company should brew together a Peeps-themed dessert for Easter?
