On Tuesday, the day of GEM CLUB’s “In Roses” release, we debuted a video of the band playing “Soft Season” live at Woolly Mammoth Studios in Waltham. The band did a live take of another song from the album called “Michael,” while at the studio, operated by local music legend David Minehan.
GEM CLUB plays tomorrow night at the Museum of Fine Arts to celebrate the release of “In Roses,” which came out on Tuesday on Hardly Art. Joining the Somerville trio is Dirty Projectors bassist Nat Baldwin, who has released a handful of solo albums on Western Vinyl, and Brianna Olson, who will do a visual performance. Space is limited, so buy your tickets if you’re curious, and be sure to check out “In Roses” now.
