With most of us trapped in our homes by the record-breaking snowfall and record-breaking inefficiency of the MBTA, there hasn’t been much chance to get out and actually enjoy the weather.

If you’re looking to get out of the apartment for a mini Winter vacation, we have just the place for you: your very own igloo, available for only $10 in the heart of Cambridge, courtesy of Airbnb.

Deep in the icy heart of Cambridgeport, an intrepid snow architect named Pier has built his very own custom igloo, complete with tarp and yoga mat available for rent, and with full use of the home bathroom and kitchen. Click the images to enlarge.

Looks… cozy?

Sure, on the surface it looks like a huge pile of snow hollowed out just enough that a human could barely fit inside. But wait ’til you see the interior.

Look at that hospitable living space!

Perfect for anyone looking to get the real Boston winter experience, or whose significant other recently kicked them out of the apartment after seven straight days of snow puns.

“Yes, it is very cool. Juno made it.”

“Comfortably fits 1, or 2 if curled up. You can use the house bathroom and kitchen if you need. Tarp and yoga mattress provided. You’ll need to bring your sleeping bag. Wunderbar.”

About the (dashingly handsome) host, Pier:

“Recent travel destinations: a trip through Siberia (where I perfected my igloo building skills), Mongolia, China and South East Asia. I traveled to Asia a few times recently, and I want to visit South America soon.”

Interested renters should act now, because while the snow will be sticking around for awhile, this deal won’t! (Seriously, Airbnb is pretty strict about removing joke listings like these, so it’s probably going to be done in a couple hours or so.)

UPDATE (4:20 p.m.): Pier responded to my request for more information on the igloo, saying it took six hours for him and two others to make, and that he had a few reservations before Airbnb blocked his listing.
