“It has been quite the year for Boston’ is a phrase we could likely say at the end of any year. There’s always truth to it though, especially in 2014. Our charitable resilience remained strong after a trying 2013– this year focusing on launching the ice bucket challenge to raise awareness for ALS. We inaugurated a new Mayor, and tearfully said goodbye to another. We saw Hollywood descend on our city unlike any other year, the fruits of which we will see in 2015. Our sports teams didn’t add any rings to the collection, but as your most frustratingly reasonable friend might tell you, “there’s always next year.”
