Depeche Mode’s synth-pop classics have been given a unique facelift today by the “chiptune” and “synthpunk” collective 8-Bit Operators. Using re-purposed and modified Nintendos, Gameboys, Ataris, and other gaming systems, the “Tribute to Depeche Mode: Enjoy The Silence” gives new life to some of the band’s greatest works. The tribute spans three decades, including favorites like “Just Can’t Get Enough,” “Strangelove,” and “Never Let Me Down Again.”
