A special kind of hell would involve being trapped in your local movie theater while hundreds of hormone-crazed teens banged down the doors in an attempt to see an R-rated movie.
This is exactly what happened Ocoee, Fla. where about 900 teens swarmed an AMC Theater at the West Oaks Mall to see “50 Shades of Grey.” Local authorities estimated 100 were able to bust through theater doors on Monday where patrons (naturally) panicked, alerting 911.
While no serious injuries were reported (prior gunshot reports were dismissed as firecrackers), the Sheriff’s Office’s Lt. Paul Hopkins said guests still had plenty of reason to freak out, “These are middle- to high-school kids who have guns, who are shooting guns, who are robbing people, driving stolen cars, and they have drugs in their car.”
The sheriff’s office said they are looking into whether planning via the Twitter or the Facebook was involved in the BDSM bum-rush, but so far, no leads.
