A rain storm passed through Boston this morning, covering the sky with clouds as it made its way north through the city and up towards Nova Scotia.
Dozens of pictures started popping up on Instagram and Twitter around 8 o’clock, showing photos of the skyline with usual sights and buildings obscured by fog.
The mist persisted for hours, blocking skyscrapers like the Prudential Tower, the Millenium Tower, and 200 Clarendon from view. Most of the photos were taken in the Back Bay, North End, and Financial District.

The weather is predicted to clear up by 2 p.m., so if you want to add to the photo’s of this morning’s cloudy sky, head outside as soon as you can.
